Cookies and local storage
This page describes the cookies and data kept on your device by the King 1x1 website and app. We use no advertising cookies and no audience-measurement tools, so no consent banner is needed.
Last updated : October 24, 2026 · In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. What we use
Everything below is strictly necessary for the service to work (it does not require your consent):
- k1-lang (cookie, 1 year): remembers the language you chose.
- k1-auth (local storage): your login session.
- k1-profile-cache (local storage): a copy of your profile to display pages faster.
- k1-device (local storage): an anonymous identifier of your device, used to limit the number of free seats per person.
- Convenience data (local storage): your city or position chosen in Open Court, your drafts and your bookings in progress.
2. What we do not use
No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no third-party audience measurement, no social network buttons that track you. If we ever add such a tool, we will ask for your consent before activating it.
3. Third-party content
- YouTube videos (King TV, teaser): they only load after you press play, using YouTube’s "no cookie" mode. Once playback starts, Google may receive your IP address.
- Maps (OpenFreeMap / OpenStreetMap) and place search (API Adresse, Photon): these services see your IP address when they respond.
- Links to Instagram, Streetball Store and our partners: their own rules apply once you have left the service.
Fonts are hosted by us: no request is sent to an external font service.
4. Managing or deleting them
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings (the "Site data" section). You will then be logged out and the language will be reset. In the app, uninstalling the application or clearing its storage erases this data.
