Terms of sale

They cover: (a) spectator tickets for King 1x1 events, including the World Finals; (b) player registration fees for tournaments. Shop products are sold by Streetball Store under its own terms.

Placing an order means you accept these terms. The seller is the association (contact details in the legal notice).

The venue zones, their prices and the number of seats are shown on the Ticketing page, and registration fees on each tournament’s page. A zone may be free.

Prices are in euros, including all taxes. They are those displayed at the time of the order. For free seats, a maximum number of seats per person applies, shown when booking, to prevent phantom bookings.

You choose the event, the zone and the number of seats (tickets), or the tournament, your category and your kit size (registration), then you confirm. An account, or failing that an e-mail address, is required. You receive a confirmation by e-mail.

The association may refuse or cancel an order in case of fraud, obvious abuse or a prior payment dispute.

Online payment is handled by Stripe (bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and is due immediately. The association does not keep your card details.

The ticket is valid once payment is received. For a paid tournament, your spot is reserved as "pending payment": it may be given to another player if payment is not received before the registration deadline.

Each ticket carries a unique QR code, sent by e-mail and available in the app. It is valid only once: the first person to present it gets in. Do not share it (a public screenshot, for example).

You may give or transfer your seat to the person of your choice at the price paid. Regular resale, or resale at a profit, is prohibited without the written permission of the association, and the ticket concerned may be cancelled without refund.

In accordance with article L.221-28 12° of the Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Tickets and tournament registrations are therefore neither exchangeable nor refundable solely because you change your mind.

• If the event is cancelled by the association, the price paid is refunded in full within 30 days.
• If it is postponed, your ticket or registration is valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you can request a refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement.
• Announced changes to the schedule, times or players do not entitle you to a refund.
• Player registration: unless stated otherwise on the tournament page, registration fees are non-refundable if you withdraw.

No compensation is due in case of force majeure or a decision by the authorities.

• The venue’s rules and the instructions of security and front-desk staff apply. Bags may be checked. Entry may be refused, without refund, in case of dangerous behaviour or failure to comply with these rules.
• Children remain under the responsibility of the adult accompanying them.
• The event is filmed, photographed and broadcast (King TV, social networks, press). By entering, you agree to appear in these images; to object, tell the front desk or write to contact@king1x1.com.
• Official kit: given free to each registered player, it is handed over at the front desk on the day of the tournament, in the size indicated at registration. It is neither sold nor exchangeable for money.
• Players: you declare that you are fit to play competitive basketball and you take part at your own risk, in compliance with the official rules. A minor player registers with the consent of their legal guardian.

The association is responsible for the proper performance of its services under French law. It is not responsible for lost or stolen items, nor for damage caused by a participant or a spectator. Nothing here excludes the rights that the law gives you as a consumer.

The data needed for the order is processed as described in the privacy policy.

For any complaint, write to contact@king1x1.com, stating your name, the e-mail address used for the order and the subject of your request. We reply as soon as possible.

If we cannot resolve the dispute, you have the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge (articles L.611-1 et seq. of the Code de la consommation), after first contacting the association in writing.

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules applicable to consumers.
