Rules
The official FIBA game rules are valid for all game situations not specifically mentioned in the King not specifically mentioned in the King 1×1 rules below.
Art. 1 The court and the ball
The game is played on a 1×1 court with a single basket. The playing area of a 1×1 court measures 15 m (width) x 11 m (length).
The court must have a regulation playing surface including a free-throw marker (5m80 from the baseline) and a 2-point line (6m75 from the centre of the ring).
A half basketball court basketball court may be used. A size 7 basketball must be used for categories aged 15 and over and size 6 for women and under-13s.
Art. 2 Players
Players must be dressed in the King 1×1 kit provided by the organizers. Matches are individual and players may not be replaced or represented.
Art. 3 Match officials

Art. 4 Start of the match
4.1 The players must warm up simultaneously before the match.
4.2 A free-throw determines which player has the first possession. The player who wins the free-throw may choose to have possession of the ball either at the start of the match or at the start of any extra time.
Art. 5 Scoring
5.1 Each successful basket inside the arc must count one (1) point.
5.2 Each successful basket outside the arc must count two (2) points.
5.3 Each successful free-throw must count 1 point.
5.4 During the match, if the attacking player has scored, the ball returns to the defender. The defender may take the ball as soon as the basket is scored and leave the 3-point line. A hand-to-hand pass must be made before replaying.
5.5 When the player scores, the defender is not allowed to intercept the ball when the attacker comes out with the ball.
5.6 After a shot at the basket, if the shot is missed, the attacker can only take the rebound once.
5.7 The attacker is not allowed to have his back to the ring for more than 3 seconds.

Art. 6 Game time & Winner of the match
6.1 The regulation playing time must be as follows: one period of 3 minutes of actual play. The clock must be stopped during dead ball situations and free throws. and during free throws. Art. 7 Fouls / Free throws

Art. 8 How to play the ball
